High Carbon Steel
High carbon steel is a carbon steel with a carbon content between 0.60% and 1.70%.
High carbon steel can be hardened and tempered to achieve high hardness, high strength, and superior wear resistance. High carbon steel is commonly used in the manufacture of general bearings, cutting tools, rails, steel frame molds, springs, and high-wear mechanical components.
